Terms of Use

These terms govern your use of the Bolly Music app and this website (together, “the service”), provided by Aditya Kedia. By using the service you agree to them. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
1. The service
Bolly Music is a songbook for singing along to Hindi film songs. It lets you browse and filter a catalogue of songs, read their lyrics in English or Devanagari script, watch official videos through YouTube, and keep a shortlist of songs. The service is free.
2. Who can use it
You must be at least 13 years old, or the minimum age required in your country to consent to use of an online service. If you are under 18, you should have your parent or guardian’s permission.
3. Your account
You sign in with your Google account. You are responsible for activity on your account and for keeping your device secure. You can delete your account at any time from the app’s menu; see our account deletion page.
4. YouTube content
Videos are played through YouTube’s embedded player using YouTube API Services. By watching videos in the app you also agree to the YouTube Terms of Service. Videos belong to their owners and may be removed or become unavailable at any time. View counts shown in the app may not be current.
5. Lyrics, songs and other content
Song titles, film names, lyrics and videos are the property of their respective owners and are shown for personal, non-commercial sing-along use. We do not claim ownership of them. Lyrics are gathered from public sources and may contain mistakes; Devanagari versions are produced automatically and may not be exact.
If you own rights in content shown in the service and want it removed, email help@bollymusic.app with the song, the content concerned and your contact details. We will review and respond promptly.
6. Acceptable use
Do not misuse the service. In particular, do not: copy or scrape the catalogue or lyrics in bulk; interfere with or overload our servers; try to access other people’s accounts; reverse engineer the app except where the law allows; or use the service for any unlawful purpose.
7. Our rights
The Bolly Music name, logo, app and website design are ours. We grant you a personal, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the app on devices you own or control, for personal use.
8. Changes and ending the service
We may change, suspend or stop the service or any part of it. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms. You can stop using the service and delete your account at any time.
9. Disclaimer
The service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, to the extent the law allows. We do not guarantee that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any particular song, video or lyric will be available or accurate.
10. Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential loss arising from your use of the service. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
11. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute arising from them or from the service is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts at Jaipur, Rajasthan, India. This does not take away any protection you have under the consumer laws of the country where you live.
12. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. We will post the new version here with a new effective date and tell you in the app if the changes are significant. Continuing to use the service after that means you accept them.
